This is a lovely little place and Kaz the young man is an absolute little legend (ps hose pipe relief was beautiful 😉) such an easy and educational place with lots of local knowledge and advice, Kaz is a credit to your company

We had some great surf lessons here with John, who is a really friendly, enthusiastic and fantastic instructor. Had lessons myself as did my 13 year old daughter who loved it as much as I did. Highly recommend, not only great lessons but great equipment as well. Thanks John, we’ll be back for sure.

We had a kayaking lesson with John today, and it was fantastic! The coastline of Cornwall is stunning and this was a great way to see it. John explained how to kayak really clearly, as we had mixed capabilities in our group. He took us to a beach, with a waterfall and told us about the history of the area and the about the local wildlife. Can’t recommend his lessons more highly! Thanks John!

I’ve done a few activities with John and the crew at The Boatshed - surf lessons, coasteering and a session on their mega SUP, and all have been fantastic. John is a great teacher, really knowledgeable and patient (important when I’ve been learning to surf!) and with safety a top priority. All of their kit is great quality and with a big range of sizes and types. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Boatshed to anyone looking to enjoy the sea and beach in this area of Cornwall.

Good friendly staff and equipment. John is a great surf instructor. I’ve had a couple of lessons and really enjoyed it and I’ve improved. Highly recommend hiring the kit even if you don’t have a lesson but it’s worth the money.

Had loads of fun here with the guys John & Louis. Did a private surf lesson & a group surf lesson, as well as a coastal exploration route. They're great guides who know the area well, supply all the water sports kit & are a good laugh too. Definitely recommend this place for surf lessons or water activities in praa sands. Make sure to ask for Ice Cream Ian

My Husband Paul and Daughter Sam booked a kayak tour with these lovely people. They were so pleased they did. John took them out along the coast from Praa Sands. All the while he was telling them the history of the place and about the coastline. John made them feel very relaxed and nothing was too much trouble. His enthusiasm and kindness was second to none. He gave them an experience they will remember forever. They absolutely loved it. Thanks John for making the last day of our holiday such an amazing one. We would recommend this place to everyone. It's an adventure you'll never forget. Amazing!!!

Had a fantastic kayaking tour. The whole family went, the boys were 11 and 14. John was a great host. Great fun navigating the coastline. We all felt totally safe and were regularly checked up on to ensure we were all OK. All safety equipment was included, wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet, well worth the money.
